Default N28 Allen & Ginter Price Questions

Posted By: Paul

New to collecting the set. Only been really watching them for about a week. I have a couple questions, & appreciate any help. What is the best way/website to determine the current market values for this set? It seems to me that the SMR is not accurate, & everything on eBay is the dreaded Buy It Now. Also, what would be a fair price for both the buyer/seller for an graded EX Caruthers? Thank you. Sincerely, Paul

Maybe I need to take the time to figure out how to use VCP. Not much luck with it in the past. I just searched for N28, & it just took me to those dreaded eBay BIN's.

Paul - if you explain what you're doing on VCP, I can point you in the right direction. When I search for N28 on VCP, it brings me to a checklist for the set and when I click on each card, it shows me actual sales prices.

Matt, I'll play around with VCP some more. I'll email you if I get stuck. I think I'll have some coffee before going back to VCP.

Hi Paul

I just checked VCP and I think somewhere around $400-$450 would be a fair price. Maybe a little less with the recent fall off in prices.

BTW, thanks for the Wolverine PC's.

Here is a youtube 3 minute video that will show you how to do searches and find the value.

Just make sure that you have the right sport highlighted for you search and you are entering N28 in the ACC# section of your search.

Jeff is correct. An excellent graded card will go about $450-$525. VG-EX will run low to mid $400s. EX-MT will run high $500s.
