For 12 k I will pick it up in person and bring it to your front door!!!! You would have to think most expensive planefare anywhere in the U.S. is 600/700 round trip. 15k is a little steep
but a great bat if it's the real deal.

Before I decide whether I want in on this or not, have you done the math as to how many game-used bat sliver cards it can produce - and for how much will each card sell?

I have a wood chipper you can toss it in. It will come out in a million pieces. A buck a throw and you've made a few hundred thousand. I chip up stuff like this all the time for Topps.

If we're all dividing it, should we split it width wise or length wise? I vote length wise, although that bend in the bat might make for some difficult cutting.

Pray that Topps or UD don't buy it and turn it in to 100 bat cards

Bob, maybe the seller meant that the guy who authenticated the bat is infamous?

Dude - if you get in on this with us, sure, you'd be spending more then on that card but you'd have a much more significant chunk of bat then that toothpick.

i dont know...i just cant see spending that kind of $ on a significant item like this and chopping it up into however many pieces...if it were $100k then possibly but those pieces would have to be pretty small to make up $685k...

That's the whole idea. We're going with the microscopic particle of game-used bat card. The woodchipper should do the trick. No telling how many cards that bat will enable us to produce. Eat your heart out Topps! Who wants a piece of the action?
