Default What Happended to the Frank Jock Award?????

Posted By: Preece1

In 1974, the first Frank Jock Award was given out to the collector that made the biggest contribution to the hobby as voted by fellow collectors. Frank Jock was a long time hobby columist starting in the late 1940's and he passed away in 1968. Well known collectors such as Frank Nagy and Buck Barker were recipients in 1975 and 1976, respectively. What ever happened to this award? Just lost steam?

I grew up very near to Mansfield, Ohio. My old stomping grounds I guess. It would be nice to have these awards around today.
