Default Zeenut card

Posted By: Jason

I am helping someone find an old Zeenut card of their grandfather. His name was Walter Porter and he played with the Oakland Oakes PCL during somewhere around the late 1920's or early 30's. I'm pretty sure there is a card or two of him but have never seen one. If anyone has any information of the existence of a card or how I can help him purchase one, please let me know. Thanks!
Jason

I checked the late twenties and early thirties Zeenut issues, and it appears that Walter Porter, playing for Oakland, has a card in the 1930 series. He is identified by full name in the Beckett Almanac. Mark MaCrae is always the first and best choice when it comes to dealers who sell PCL cards.

Mark Macrae's e-mail address. If anyone can help you with Zeenuuts, or anything PCL, he can.
