Default Baseball ABC -- victory achieved

Posted By: Max Weder

For those of you following (or for most of you, ignoring) my heartfelt pleas for baseball books--and in particular Baseball ABC [McLaughlin, c 1884] --I must announce that I have finally achieved success:

Who needs expert dealers such as Barry Sloate? Who needs to venture into the nooks and crannies of the antiquarian book world? Wonders can still be found on ebay...

That said, I suppose I will need an accompanying doll house and magnifying glass to truly enjoy the literary merits of my purchase. (or, if this was a card, the description might read "slight variation in size from original")

(And Barry, if you find another life size one, please let me know. My eyes aren't that good that I can truly enjoy the ebay purchase..)

Max
