I got a few emails this week suggesting that the board had become a free-for-all after the large number of posts on some controversial subjects. In my opinion, with the exception of the Barry Bonds & steroids rehashes (all now remorselessly deleted), everything's fine. Some would like a return to the "old days", but I'd remind everyone that there is no agenda here except to discuss vintage collecting. There are roughly 7000 unique visitors to this site each month now, which is twice where we were at a year ago.

One small gripe: I'd prefer that people not act as proxies for others by quoting personal emails. If someone has something to say, they should do it themselves.

Bill

Bill,
I love this forum. I take my lumps(especially lately) but I love to learn, even if it is sometimes the hard way! And I have learned a great deal here and made a few friends over the years.

Word is out, this is the best Vintage Baseball source on the web.

Regards,
Nick

I second Nick's thoughts. This is a great forum and I think we have all taken our lumps at one time or another but thats a part of learning.

I personally do not read every thread because some titles just don't interest me, that is my choice and that is why it should not be censored. If you don't like the subject no one is forcing you to read.

A great source of information and personalities with our same interest.

All's Good here,

Lee

If I have any questions concerning vintage collecting somebody is always there to help out. This sight is terrific for that! It is a tool for a collector that you just cant put a price on.. Just keep the personal and political stuff out..

I should have been paying more attention in school instead of to baseball cards.

Bill,
This truely is a great resource. If Lelands, Mastro or AM are enganging in deceptive business practices, then collectors have a right to know.

I found this board only a few months ago, but I have learned so much, and I look forward to meeting and talking with new people.

Keep up the great work.

This is surely the greatest board and Bill you do an absolute wonderful job !

the only thing I think that I would change is your greediness of those Tip Tops and I would like you even more. Now isn't that swell of me ?

p.s I only need one upgrade of your 3
