Default RIP Super Collector Friend John Hudman

I'm not sure how many of you on net54 knew John Hudman from Houston, Texas, but he passed away last night after a long stay in the hospital.
John and I knew each other well because of his passion for collecting Nolan Ryan. John was a collector of all things Nolan Ryan and HOF related autographs.
At one time, John had the most advanced Ryan collection going in the hobby. In 1999, while attending the grand pre-opening of the Nolan Ryan Center in Alvin, TX, I had the pleasure of getting to see his collection first hand. Truly an epic collection!

Here's a toast to John Hudman, a true collecting legend! RIP John

Sorry to hear of the loss. I didn't know him either but it is always sad to hear of a good-guy collector who passed away.
And if you were to pick one modern era player to collect, Ryan would be about as good as it gets. It sounds like he was a wonderful person.

Thanks to all of you that weighed in.
John collected for over 50 years and was a true gentleman.
Passionate, always helpful and a definite man of his word.
