Default 1929 Kashin Cards question

I recently bought a lot on ebay that was listed as EXMT, but it seems that most are a tad short of the 3 3/8x 4 1/2. Are these known to come from the factory like this or should i be concerned? Was the quality control good? The edges feel smooth even on all cards even the two that measure out perfect.

The Kashin cards I have handled varied almost from card to card. I think the inconsistency is common to that issue.

Agreed. There is a small variance but not a lot. I would say within a 1/16th you should be fine but more than that or you could have a trim, from my limited experience. The way these were issued it's not difficult to find high grade ones that are completely legitimate.

I try not to handle my kashins in public.

Given that you said "try", I'm guessing you don't always succeed.
