Thumbs down 1990 Target Dodgers

Any one know a good site where individual cards for obscure common players in this set can be ordered?

Default Target 1990 Dodgers

An internet search with that phrase seems to turn up a lot of buying options, including eBay. Even full sets.

Be careful buying sealed packs which were given away at games. Most did not actually contain the full number run that they promised. It was really haphazard.

welcome to the boards rick...

I'm a fellow Dodgers collector and have come across quite a few Target sets over the years. I've kept two for myself, one sealed set and one that I opened to separate (the cards are perforated for those who don't know) and enjoy looking at. In fact, once I mailed an extra set I had to Vin Scully as a gift along with a 1982 Volpe of Vin requesting his autograph. My gift offering must have worked because Vin returned the Volpe signed! Oh, I should add, he chose to return the Target set back to me, lol. Who needs cards when it's all in

To answer your question, when I need random singles to complete my team sets at a reasonable price I usually buy from burbank sportscards on beckett marketplace. In addition, these two sites have assisted me a little over the years:

I have been trying to complete the set for a while now and have had a number of unopened and opened packs. I finally decided to actually sit down and figure out what I had today! I don't know how, but it appears that I have almost 3 sets. I am actually missing a Lopes sheet shy of a 3rd set (assuming the unopened packs are complete, since I saw elsewhere on a comment that sometimes they were not). Now I separated several sheets a few years back before I decided that was too much work. Perhaps I pulled apart one or two full packages and a single sheet from another package before calling it quits?

If anyone is interested in trying to complete a set via sealed packages (like I did W/O the knowledge of exactly how many sheets were in each pack and it's not 15 in each pack, as advertised elsewhere), I can share what cards were on top of a sealed set and when I am done, I can share what cards were within each sealed package.

There are actually 6 different packages with a combined 73 sheets for a grand total of 1095 cards.

If anyone is looking for a complete sealed set I currently have one left available. Drop me a line.
