Default Umpire Autograph...

Does anyone know a good place to start if I am looking for a few umpire autographs? I am looking for the umpires from the 1955 World Series...

To be specific:
Bill Summers AL
Lee Ballanfant NL
Jim Honochick AL
Frank Dascoli NL
Red Flaherty AL
Augie Donatelli NL

Any help is appreciated...

Ah ha...you're going after the 55 series umpires now. That's a pretty cool addition. I know 4 of the 6 umpires have examples for sale on ebay right now...all pretty cheap. The other two I couldn't find anywhere right now.

I cannot be of any help with the autos but my 1st cousin married Augie Donnatelli's son. I have been asking them for years if they had any memorabilia around but there were some issues between the kids and their father and from what I am understanding there was no memorabilia to be had. They do have some great stories though!!

Thanks Andrew. That is my fear...That I will collect all, but one and be chasing it forever...but I guess that's the fear we all have.

Default Almost...

I actually just picked up a ball signed by Ed Runge who from what I have read was one of the umpires of the WS Perfect Game by Don Larsen in 1956. It was in a lot of about 10 balls I picked up last week. Pretty cool ball and not a lot of them for sale. Anyway, I had to comment since you were asking about WS Umpire signed baseballs. Good luck with your 1955 set!
