Default F

There is a theory that the F is for F. Scott Fitzgerald:

Default F. Scott Mygoodnessgracious!

Thanks T206 Collector. Now I know my English Literature degree was not for naught...it allowed me to unconsciously gravitate to a card that may have at one time been owned by the creator of the Great Gatsby.

Default Guess I could post this here, too

This is the second card I've bought this year, but the first to arrive.

Photobucket

I'm trying to rebuild McCormick's collection of all the t206s he stamped as a kid. This is #170 in the rebuild, #171 should arrive tomorrow. That leaves 28 cards I know exist with his stamp on them (and I know the owners of 11 of those. Eventually, you'll all hear from me) and who knows how many more that will just show up in auctions, eBay, etc. A never ending quest.

Default scribble?

Shown before but.........I bought this from a board member many years ago on ebay. I thought the writing was just stray marks and tried erasing it. I couldn't because it's from one of those oil based pencils from long ago.....I guess it's good I didn't

New to forum so I just read your original thread about the McCormick backs. Now that's a very unique and hard to find collection. I looked at my few T206 backs as a couple had stamps, but no McCormicks. Good luck in your hunt.

Mike - I have seen many of these Lloyd Bolton stamps, and like the McCormick stamp, I wonder just who is Lloyd Bolton and was this a personal collection, etc. ?

I think there are probably many more than 10. I have 2 in a total collection of only about 60.

An autographed Nelson Tisdel. Sometimes the stamp just isn't enough
