Default Any information about this 1926 Postcard?

I picked this up locally, but I'm really not a football collector. I suppose what I'm wondering is, were these commonly issued for most college football teams? Thanks in advance!

I haven't seen many early college team post cards. Did you buy that in Virginia?

1926 Results (1-3)

Roanoke L, 0-68
American L, 0-7
Shepherd W, 12-0 Yea we scored!!
Randolph-Macon L, 0-25

You can find a list alumni, but not much else on the College site. Looks like they started football in 1899 through 1904. Started again 1925-37. Again in 49 to present.

Record when these boys were in school and might have played.
1925 1-0
1926 1-3
1927 0-5
1928 0-5-1
1929 0-5
1930 0-6
1931 0-5
1932 0-4

I see a trend in their record. I don't think any of these guys went on t omake their fame in football, but you never know.

BTW, Its a great piece. Joe

In Rememberance of James W. Brennan Sr. 1924-1982. Dad, thanks for everything you did for me.

nice piece. they not common, but not rare either. i did sell a slew of these (other teams, not this particular piece) at the national, so there is pretty good demand.
