Default Who is this?

Part of my collection consists of a scrapbook with cut outs from newspapers and magazines from about 100 years ago. There were a few collectables glued in with the cut outs, so when I had them removed, the cut outs came off too. Amazingly, the name of the player was written on the backs of each of the news/mag cut outs; except one. This was thicker than just about everything else, so possibly a magazine cover? I'm not sure if this is an artists rendition -or of anything really, but I can't find any team with a uniform that "santa claus-y".
If there was a team logo, it seems to be brushed out, but there seems to be the remnants of something on the left chest.
Since all other cut outs had names, this is kinda bugging me. For all I know, this is a well known photo/drawing and I just don't know it.
Anyway, I think it's cool.
