Default Cubs Baseball Autographed in 1939

I have a friend with a Cubs Baseball as follows:
His father attended a Chicago Cubs baseball camp back in 1939 and came away with a baseball autographed by some of the Cubs’ all-time greats, some who are members of the Baseball Hall of Fame.

They are as follows:

Billy Herman

Dizzy Dean

Gabby Hartnett

Phil Cavaretta

Stanley Hack

Vance Page

Carl Reynolds

Dick Bartel

Claude Passeau

Gene Lillard

Charles Root

Earl Whitehill

Hank Lieber

Glen Russell

Bob Garbark

Jim Gleason

Gus Mancuso

Jack Russell

Larry French

He is wanting to know where he should go to establish its value. Any help in where to send him would be appreciated.

Bartell was only on the Cubs in 1939, so this likely a 1939 team signed ball for the Cubs. If you post a picture you will likely get some opinions as to authenticity. You could do a Google search for 1939 Cubs team signed ball and see what you get. Value depends on darkness and cleanliness of signatures, condition of the ball, and if the key signatures are genuine or "clubhouse" (signed by clubhouse employee as opposed to the player) versions.

Off the top of my head, I would say value, if sigs and ball are relatively strong and all are genuine, to be in the $250-300 range.
