Default I've always wondered: what are those marks on the T206 Bergen (batting)?

Maybe this is a dumb question, but it's been bugging me for ages. Every one of them have those 6 little circles - they remind me of the dents you see in road signs when kids and/or rednecks shoot at them. What the heck are they? I would guess some sort of button, but I don't see anything like them on other cards.

Default Glo-buttons

Buttons on a sweater is indeed the answer...just a poor artistic execution. I always felt they would still give off that white glow if you were to look at the card in the dark.
