"EVEN THOUGH THIS MAY NOT BE REAL IT COULD BE THE ONLY REPRINT IN THE WORLD THAT DOESN'T SAY THE WORD REPRINT ON IT....THAT'S RIGHT A TRUE 1/1 CARD"

what a jack-a$$

Don't know if this the same guy, but I've seen that description used before. The sad thing, a card that says "reprint" is probably rarer than one that doesn't.

Same description and same guy that was selling the T208 Fireside reprint last week. Funny that he's not sure if it's real, he bought it as a last month, as well as a number of thing from RawOysterMan.

eBay Policy
Authenticity Disclaimers

Sellers may not disclaim knowledge of, or responsibility for, the authenticity or legality of the items offered in their listings.

Sellers should take steps to satisfy themselves that their items are authentic before listing them on eBay. If you cannot verify the authenticity of an item, do not list it.

The following examples violate eBay's Authenticity Disclaimer Policy:
"I cannot guarantee the authenticity of this item, so please bid accordingly."

If someone were to say to the seller: "I live ten miles away from you, and my 6 year old son wants to bid on this card because he was a genuine Cracker Jack. If he wins and it turns out to be a reprint, I'm going come over and literally make you eat the card and the packaging it came in. Now, before my son decides whether or not to place a bid in your auction, can you tell me what is the card?" ...

... My guess is the seller will have no difficulty communicating that the card is a reprint.

The seller (mintcd) has been NARU'ed, along with powerseller gsiesser24, who was also pawning "might be...perhaps.. possibly" reprints.

This weasel (username: slickchaser) has also been shown the door in the past few days.

Looks like ebay is starting to pay attention to these types of auctions.

A couple of other great qualities to the description.
1) He describes it as a reprint of a 1914 CJ when it is a reprint of a 1915.
2) Great for Yankee fans?!?!?!?!?!? Exsqueeze me? N.Y. Nat'l (Giants).

That made my day. If anyone else plans to be at the Chantilly, Virginia show, let me know - I will be sharing a table and disposing of the remainder of my "non-photo" collection. Hope to see some of you there.

When is that show? I must have missed the date in my daily things of a thousand to do. I would love to get to the next one.
