Default "11"

Any time is see the # 11, all I can think of is the volume scene in "Spinal Tap".

Kevin,
I hadn't realized until you mentioned it. I was able to find a couple past instances of this same clown pulling the same crap. The fact is, 90% of his listings are of this nature. Preying on ignorance is about the only why I can sum it up. I contacted him through ebay....

'Quite the shady listing.....printing plates for M101's? Really? And not just one, two.....? What some bogus trash. And I love the graded cards......what is the name of your 'bedroom grading company?' Amazing that you get away with this crap.'

And his response....
'its a news paper printing plate not a baseball card plate.'

I'm through arguing with idiots.

I didn't know printing plates could exhibit corner wear. Thanks for the enlightenment.

I don't know... but after reading his explanation (see below) I'm thinking about sending him all my cards for grading. Look what it does to the value!

Quote:
Graded cards are so much more valuable than just a plain card coming from a pack. My pic shows examples. 1970 Pete Rose in Beckett values at $60, but graded it jumped to $5,676. All of my cards are labeled with graded values not book values.

Not a new scam at all. This scumbag has been ripping off grandmothers for a while. He also takes reprinted cards from the 30's cuts a hole in them, and puts a penny in them selling them as Babe ruth rookie year penny etc. He sells homemade garbage and counterfiet cards. Sold a few jordan rookie printing plates etc. Guy makes a ton of money hocking garbage. That ebay allows this (as well as all the other scammers) Their greed is going to turn them into yahoo auctions. He also shills and ends up winning alot of his own garbage. He has an ID that has 178 feedback score that he uses.
