Default Negro League Panorama in REA

I was hoping to pick this one up if had happened to "fly under the radar" but no such luck:

https://bid.robertedwardauctions.com...e?itemid=53741

It's a terrific piece for sure, an original photo picturing two top, early Negro League teams is quite rare. I thought the final price of $11K was pretty strong but not undeserved.

Any other thoughts from those on the Board who collect this type of stuff?

Large items are a bit more difficult to collect. I don't follow the Negro Leagues too much but the price doesn't seem out of the ordinary for such a piece. And Oscar Charleston is always a crowd fave!!

Not to veer off-topic (I apologize to the OP in advance), but wouldn't it be cool if MLB teams sponsored Band Days, where they'd bring in a local high school/college/middle school bands to play classic baseball songs (Take Me Out to the Ballgame, CHARGE, etc.)?

+1 I was on drum line in HS. It would have been awesome to play an Express game.
