Default It's finally over!

Like passing a gallstone/kidney stone, it's a great relief when it's over! The Pirates have finally achieved mediocrity with their 82nd win of the season! Let's see all things Pirates!

Default Pirates Stuff

Here's the tip of an iceberg of Pirates stuff I haven't photographed, from an infield rake from Forbes Field to a team signed ball from 1925. (It's not collectable, but I thought I'd add a picture of my son in absolute awe.)

2 more - the Waner brothers, their first year together, and a 1917 portrait of Wagner from his estate.

That Wagner portrait is INCREDIBLE!

Congratulations to the Pirates, and to the fans who have been hanging in there waiting for the ship to right itself.

Here's a recent-ish pickup and an obscure one that took me a while to track down.

Regards,

Richard.

Good luck Jon! Unfortunately, I'm going down to Florida for awhile(who says that and means it?) and leaving Friday, otherwise I'd be going to all of the playoff games at PNC. They need to not play in Cincy for that one game play-in WC game, so these final games are huge.

Wow, you've got them already! The Sox are only selling ALDS tickets so far. And from what I hear, only online - No waiting at the ticket office.

So much for both confidence and tradition...........

Amen! Hopefully the champagne is worn off and they kick it into high gear. I will be rooting for both of us!
