Default T206 Souvenir Sheet

I recently came across the Sport Americana T206 Souvenir Sheet posters. I have few questions about them...

1. When were they printed? 70's? 80's?
2. How did you get them (back in the day)?
3. How common are they? This is the first set I have seen in person. I have logged a lot of miles at flea markets, yard sales and antique malls etc...

I picked them up because I have not seen them (other then pictures) before and they were in a frame and in great shape. Sharp corners, no rips or tears.

Thanks,
Scot M

I'm not sure about #1 or #2, but re: #3...
At the time of this post, I hadn't ever seen them before either:

I have seen them come up once or twice since though.

I may be way off-base, but growing up in the 80s I seem to remember them being something you could order through the Scholastic Book Fairs when I was a kid. It was a company that would do road shows and stopped at an elementary/middle school one day a year and would sell books either off racks or mail away depending on what you wanted.

i have a set I bought as a kid in the 80's...had mounted on foam board...and I still have them. not long ago I believe someone on the board bought a set for $50...after a discussion on the topic. this seemed like a fair price!
