Default What do you guys do for a living?

...Or did you do, if you happen to be retired.

There are some amazing collections put together by the members out there and it made me wonder .... what do these guys do for a living??? I'm in IT. Boring. Kind of hard to describe what I do, but I basically make the enigmatic "cloud", happen. "Nobody understand the cloud! It's a mystery!"

Slowing down a little. Spent many years as ops manager in heavy construction. Got tired of all the travel and moved into cost estimating/project management. Now I miss the travel/time out of the office.

Hey, do you guys see that green grass on the other side of the fence?

During the week I work at a paint store. It's alright. The manager, Dan Fusco, he's a good guy. Gave me a 4 dollar raise the other day. But at night, especially on Saturdays, I go into the city and I dance.

I own an auto repair shop that does basic general repair all the way to frame off restorations, powder coating and high temp ceramics. Just relocated to a better spot in town on a main road and still working on getting the sand blasting and coatings up and running again. In between jobs I'm usually checking Net54 and Ebay.

Default My lens is long and lean...

I've been known to film little kids with my camera...Some adults too...

I started Erie Highlight Reel in 2007, EHR is a sports media company...Filming sporting events, providing college recruiting tapes and probably no surprise to you guys, causing major shenanigans on all of my EHR social media channels, most notably BackBook. Believe it or not, that off color NFL joke was mild from what I am willing to post.

Notable EHR Chest Puffing Feats...

- 4,000+ videos, 2.7+ Million views on YouTube, most in my city, Erie PA. (Although, I haven't checked this in a bit, plus the news outlets don't go as hard on YT, so that helps. hahah)

- Pitt Athletics confiscated our tapes and credentials the first game we ever filmed down there. (I love Pitt, all good now, great story to have been a part of.)
https://TheyConfiscatedMyTape.com (Not responsible for where that made up link takes you. haha)

- Erie Otters Chair Throw Throw viral video made it on HeShePN Not Top 10...
https://youtu.be/wLnbpVLZLFU

- Softball Punch video made it on MTV Ridiculousness...
https://youtu.be/E6sZR5AKYzE

- Filmed two seasons worth of Connor McDavid footage. (Should have had 3, but for some reason teams and people don't like when you talk smack about them on the interweb. haha)
https://www.youtube.com/playlist?lis..._7IBI1wOV920AB

- The most racist comment section for a video on YouTube. (Good God, read through that if you want to see the dregs of society.)
https://youtu.be/E6sZR5AKYzE

Greatest Play I filmed: (Maybe not, but this is ultra rare. Watch it in slo-mo, dude gets stung. hahaah)
https://youtu.be/noYOWqKrIFw

Craziest Drunkard I filmed at a Game:
https://youtu.be/rkI-e8gJfys

Playlist of all possible EHR viral videos:
https://www.youtube.com/playlist?lis...BgIjZVM8csh0Bk

I try not to actually do this anymore, if I can avoid it. haha Some games/events are great to do, but come on man, I can only film so many 5th & 6th grade girls basketball games...SideNote: Girls basketball is nothing more than flops, drops, and dives. I have video proof. No, I really do. I present you...The Epitome of Girl's Basketball. hahah
https://youtu.be/cubBpaXvSGI

I won't ramble on anymore, although I could...I have so many great stories of shenanigans I caused on social media, it is ridiculous...If you ask me, this is what made EHR great, the uncensored sports talk on the company pages, and the fact that I filmed the shit out of local sports...

http://www.ErieHighlightReel.com
http://www.YouTube.com/ErieHighlightReel

After proofreading this, I hate that I put up mostly dummy stuff I captured of the sports world, not enough to change it though. haha

In reality, I met a lot of great people and even a couple coaches that, forget the touchdowns, could change the world...I also witnessed great communities of people coming together and wonderful displays of good sportsmanship...And for all the haters EHR has, pretty sure there are far more supporters...

December 31, 2011 I retired from Avaya Communications as a Senior Technician. I had essentially the same job throughout my career of 43 years with Southern Bell, American Bell, AT&T, Lucent Technologies and then Avaya.
I was in AT&T's computer group in the 80's and the job evolved in to installing, maintaining and upgrading servers.

I don't believe so Al, but my research is ongoing. As you know, there's a rule against perpetuities--just don't ask me to explain it My hope was that it could save me, but it appears there may be exceptions to the rule, and with my luck, one such exception has my name on it.

Congrats, Chris. I assume you are no longer asked to explain how the number of billable hours in a day can exceed 24.

Wow! We have people from all different career paths, but evolutionary psychologist takes the taco up to this point!!!. The Amazon/Machete guy is a close second .

I love that such a diverse group of people have such a large common interest. If only the world worked this well!!

Thanks for all the responses, keep 'em coming!

I cover the Pittsburgh Pirates and their farm system. Already talked to three players today, waiting on another to respond. There is no off-season.

I'm a Regional President for a community bank.

Matt, your products save us a lot of money that might be lost on bad actors!

I designed computer chips for 36 years and retired 2 years ago. I find I'm really good at doing nothing all day.

I own a nationwide chain of motels. 2200 units. I used to be in the CIA, but that was a long time ago, and I don't like to talk about it.
