Default Slightly OT -- funny baseball book to recommend

Just finished Seasons in Hell by Mike Shropshire, the author's reminiscences of covering the early years of the Texas Rangers c. 1973-77 for a Fort Worth newspaper. Shropshire has a great sense of humor, and has some hilarious stories on Billy Martin, Whitey Herzog, David Clyde, Jeff Burroughs, the Cleveland Beer Night fiasco, and other characters and oddities that populated baseball in the wild-and-woolly 1970s, which seems like another world (more appealing in many ways) compared to the mega-bucks game of today-- a fun read--
