Default Charles Comiskey Auto Photo - how do you think I did?

I picked this up at a local auction earlier today, mainly because I really like it, but I am a bit curious what you here at the forum think. I like to collect old photographs, but have never come across one of Comiskey, let alone having his signature on it. It is of Charles standing in the ballpark stands, signed With my best wishes Sincerely, Chas. A. Comiskey. I have not taken it out of the old frame yet, I am going to carefully try to do that now, though it does measure appx. 7" x 11.75". Any input is greatly appreciated, whether it would be information on the photo itself, or what a rough ranged estimate would be for value. Many thanks in advance. ~BP~

Default Comiskey

It looks great! I have always thought that Charles Comiskey's autograph is one of the most elegant I have ever seen.

Congrats!

Default what should I have had to....

I'll be glad to say, and most certainly will, but before I do, does anyone have an idea as to what I probably should have had to pay?

Wow...I didn't realize it was that much, perhaps I'll think of parting ways with it...I paid about 1/10th of that figure.

well you got the deal of the year for sure. Since you got it so cheap Id get it PSa/DNA'd which im sure will set you back another 100 or so. These days I think and baseball hofer that died before 1932 is worth well over a grand on a photo. Especially one this nice and this size. I think a grand is actually an understatement but you never know in this economy.

Heres what comiskey autographs have went for at legendary auctions. Unfortunatley no photos have been sold but based on the pricing a grand is most definetly an understatement.
