Default August B/S/T thread...

Thought I'd give this a jump-start with the Nat'l right around the corner.

Some fresh things I've listed on ebay. I also enjoy a good trade.

I'm looking for my normal... Store or game model bats of Babe Ruth, Lou Gehrig, Ty Cobb, Honus Wagner and Joe Jackson, plus any 40k kork grip. Also, the double knob Lajoie.
Will pay cash or have tons of items for trade.
Thanks
Matt

Default Early baseball gloves

I have these gloves available for trade. I am looking for a crescent padded fielders glove. I would also like to obtain a nice pre30's figural trophy, mushroom bat or a flat top football helmet. Thanks! I have obtained a mushroom bat, however all the gloves pictured are still available.

1954 Baseball soap with rubber baseball mitt in the original box...probably not too many of these things have survived the last 50+ years. The soap was never used and has not melted or anything...looks like it did 50 years ago..the rubber mitt is still perfect too...box is a bit worn. Never seen another...but then again I've never really tried looking. Anyway $20 shipped.

Default Vintage Pennant Blowout Sale!

I've decided to cut loose many of my nicer pennants... just a small percantage of my collection, but I realized a have some duplicates, and many that will never get displayed due to space constraints. Most of these have been sitting in bins for at least a decade!

This is a great opportunity to pick up some rare and desirable vatiations. Nearly all grade EX+ or better... many are NRMT. Since I acquired these years ago, it has become quite difficult to find them in great condition. Many have dried up completely.

Please take a look at the B/S/T Section (Memorabilia Link), as I bet there are a few of the teams most people collect. Below are some examples of what you'll find available.... all priced to sell fast. Whatever doesn't sell on the B/S/T by this Sunday afternoon will be going to Ebay and Hunt Auctions.

So don't hesitate... best offers also considered, as are discounts for multiple purchases. Thanks for looking....

Default Pennant Blowout (Part 2)

Here are a few more you'll find over on the BST... including a very rare and desirable Yankees Pennant from the Ruth/Gehrig era. All are priced to sell... these Pennant listings should be up and complete by 6:15 EDT / 3:15 Pacific.

Please check back if you don't see them yet... first person to reserve them gets them!

Thanks again,
Mark

Don't be afraid to bust out some of those Cleveland ones you've been hoarding, Mark.

Oh come on, Rob...

As if there's still an Indians Pennant you need! I think you pretty much have the market cornered on those. For the record, there are a couple of Indians Pennants still unclaimed (available to anyone except Rob )

Default Baseball Salt, Pepper, and Condiment Server

This set features Imp-like guys from 1950s Japan era. Cool baseball-themed set, and it contains the rare Condiment Server. Normally, you just see the S & P Set.

The Condiment Server includes a bottom and top half, as well as a Baseball Bat Serving Spoon. This would have been used for Mustard, Catsup, Relish, Mayo, Tartar Sauce and the like.

This Set grades EX+ and the price is $19.50 + $6.50 Shipping = $26 total

Default 1938 New York Yankees World Series Press Pin - Gorgeous

Moving on to the "headliner"... offered is a Gem Mint 1938 World Series Press Pin of the New York Yankees. This is from an epic Yankees World Champions Team (and Lou Gehrig's final World Series!)

Condition is vibrant and unimprovable, and the design is ornate and fantastic. The photos tell the story. The reverse is marked Dieges & Clust, and the original screw post and Nut are included.

A great opportunity to acquire this piece for less than you would pay at auction. Price is $479 (which includes shipping/insurance). If it doesn't sell by Sunday evening, it's going to Hunt's!

Thanks for looking,
Mark

Default 1948 Rams/Bears Ticket Stub

Neat little ticket stub from a Rams/Bears game on November 7, 1948. I'm not sure what happened in this game, but the Ticket features a nifty early Rams Head graphic.

The price is $5 + $3 shipping = $8 total

Thanks for looking!

The Dogs are yours, Rob... and to think I didn't even put "scarce" next to those!

I just replied to your PM with the payment info... thanks!

ps. Please keep that Avatar! I can actually make sense of that one.
