I am looking to add a Cy Young to my collection. Probably a T-206 but I will keep an eye out for a Caramel issue also. I wonder why Cy was not included in the Cracker Jack sets?

<<I wonder why Cy was not included in the Cracker Jack sets?>>

Cy Young retired after the '11 season, 3 years before CJ's were issued.

'15 CJ Jax or '33 Lajoie, either will finish that set.
But I'll probably end up settling for some common '41 Goudey's and an E91 or two.

I have yet to see one....

but I would love a cool Washington Senators RPPC with the Big Train front and center.... maybe on the steps of The Willard Hotel.

If I find something like that - I could stop collecting altogether.

A T206 portrait of either Johnson, Young or Mathewson.

In Rememberance of James W. Brennan Sr. 1924-1982. Dad, thanks for everything you did for me.

I'd really like to get a very low grade e93, e94 or e98 Cobb. I'd rather have an e94 or an e98 over the e93 though.

Anyone have any for sale ?

We are always looking to add the best condition type card example extant to
our collection. In this fiercely competitive market that presents a formidable
challenge, indeed.

Accordingly, we have established a "target hit list" which identifies specific
cards, and when possible the owner of said example.

Our top three targets for the Winter-Spring of 2007 are

E 97 "7" and above condition
E 98 "7" and above condition
E 99-100 "5" and above condition

A PSA 2 or 3 1934 Goudey Grove, Greenberg or Dean. Id love to get as close to completing the set as possible.

Any of those or 100 or so T206s.

I am almost finished collecting the monster but I unfortunately need the Demmit and Magie. I am not counting the Wagner even though about 20 years ago I could have purchased one at a price which I regret and will regret not accepting. It sucks being in your 20's and not having the money to buy a Baseball Card treasure. CN

The last PSA 5 Grove on Ebay sold for nearly $1k. Yikes...

As of now:

1) the 3 known missing Mike Tiernan poses from Old Judge

or

2) a T206 Lajoie throwing with either a EPdG or Hindu back (are you reading this Brian?)

T227 Cobb
Team image of Detroit from somewhere in the 1906-1912ish time period. Either RPPC or maybe the M101-2 Tigers team supplement.

I would like a few EX+ Obaks to fill in my set, but the others disagree.

My priority is always on a bunch of items that surface only rarely, so I wouldn't even bother calling them priority purchases for the year. If I get one at the National I am a happy camper.

I'd like to finish my 1948 Exhibit HOF set, though.

Guys,

Since I've just started my prewar collection, I really have too many needs. But to narrow it down, I'd like to pick up the two Gehrigs in the '33 Goudey set this year.

Hal,

Since you've been looking for the Old Judge Monty Ward for five years already, when do you know it's time to give it up.

It's my destiny, I guess.

It was about 5 years ago that the frikkin computer in my hotel room in Manhattan froze up at the end of a Mastro (or REA) auction and someone else won this card.

I know that someday the buyer will want to give the card a good home.

I just keep trying.

Mine is a CJ Jackson. Seems to be on several want lists. However, I would be happy with an M101-4/5 as well.
