Default Be honest, what card "buzzword"...

grabs your attention, hits your soft spot, draws you in..."Pack fresh", "Vivid", "Dead Centered"? Mine is "crisp" or "crispy". Thanks!

I remember in his auctions Dave Bushing would call cards and other item 'Minty' instead of Mint. I always thought that funny for whatever reason

Since I used his name, I will add that I bought various items from Busing and was always satisfied with the items and service.

Default pristine

Years ago I bought a BF2 Cobb from Barry. I asked him to describe it for me.
He said it was "PRISTINE". When I received it. I had to agree. I still have it and I still love it.

When someone adds the word "WOW" to their ebay title. For example:

T206 Nattress with several creases...WOW

I am heavily influenced by the number of "+" signs after a listing. For example, I am more inclined to look at T206 Cobb PSA 4 +++++ than I would be to look at T206 Cobb PSA 4 ++. I also am drawn like a moth to the flame by "L@@K" in listings. I also like it when sellers of slabbed cards call attention to the fact that their cards are short in the holder.

Selling AS IS

Back in Grade school a girl broke up with me in a letter and signed it "As Is"

I still don't know what in the world that means, and I still don't like it, in letters or listings.

for ebay auctions, what draws me in is bold titles or subtitles with words like "bold colors" or "dead centered" or "rare" especially if the card is a weak grade (though sometimes you'll see "rare" used on a common T206 haha). "L@@K" sometimes does it too But to be honest, a good picture is much more likely to catch my eye than fancy writing.

what i dislike in ebay auctions is seeing a spammed title. For example, a card is slabbed by PSA but has "PSA BVG SGC" in the title. Makes me feel like the seller is trying to manipulate searches so i normally won't even bid on those auctions. I've reported them before but ebay does nothing about them so i no longer bother.

Yes Rob, I just love seeing a listing for a PRO-graded card that has "Not PSA" in the title. I have come across this at least a handful of times. Sort of annoying.

Centered.

Words to describe a card that I'm not fond of..."NrMt shape for it's age."

This word always makes me check out a listing: L@@K

.........................not

Edit: Peter beat me to it, I wouldn't say I search using any buzzwords, but I do search for items placed in wrong categories. Always hoping no one else has seen it (wishful thinking), waiting to the last second to place my bid, then seeing: "Sorry, you have been outbid"

I like when people offer a best offer / buy it now and say it's for $2k and after they decline your offer of $1500 they counter with $1980 and talk about how they won't go lower. Why even have that option if you're willing to only drop it a couple bucks. I also appreciate the "rare" word when talking about a card that has 30+ listing on ebay at the same time.
