I visited the local bookstore and checked out the "games" section of the vintage sports memorabilia books. The Whitman baseball game came out in 1930 - I'm guessing that the "cards" that our jackass friend is selling are probably pictures cut off of the box, since they seem to be about "box thickness".

One looked to have copied heavily from the other (don't know which), and both had very limited lists of tickets and baseball games. One Publisher was SCD and I believe the other was Becketts. They focused on things like autographed bats and balls. The major disappointment;however, was that while one of the two at least contained prices for publications, it completely omitted listings for Reach and Spalding Guides, and those prices are readily available! The ticket listing were also very week, not going back beyond the '40s. How much trouble would it be to price ticket stubs for old World Series games and Federal League games? (not tough, I promise you).

If you are publication-minded, here is an area sadly in need of help. In addition to the above, I would add listings for Conlon, Burke,etc. photos, general ranges for vintage wire photos of various players, ranges for vintage gloves and bats (unsigned), oddball items like Burr-McIntosh baseball-related photos, vintage magazine ads (kinduva stretch), 1900's - 1960's collectible one-shot pubs such as the 1914 "Pitching Course" that is very collectible.etc..
