Default A Few OPC Rookie Cards From Hockey's Forgotten Dynasty

Here's a few cards I collected way back in the day...long before the internet or PSA (we thought a "qualifier" was the first round of the playoffs ). Hurts my head to see how badly o/c these once "near mint" cards are:

The Tonelli is not too bad but boy that Potvin and Billy are O/C . Thanks for showing. That was a great dynasty that is getting hard to remember since the team has been in the doldrums so much lately.

Wow, pretty Bossy! Nice colors on that one regardless of the tilt/OC issue. That's a tough card to find centered.

Edited to ask....is it for sale??????????

What Off centering? ..In those days, hockey cards were often severely off center. That 74-5 set was brutal. You are right too, all very solid players of a great dynasty team quite a number of years ago now.

Clark Gillies, Bobby Nystrom and Al Arbour would be cool cards to add to that grouping.

Thanks for your comments, guys!

To k-dog, I think I'm keeping these as I have had them for quite awhile, and I was a big fan of that team in the late 70s to early 80s.

Cheers,
Blair

Those were the days and my introduction to the hobby !! After I scored my first ever hockey goal in 1978 we stopped at a gas station in Little Falls Mn and my dad bought me a pack of hockey cards and I was hooked. I still have them and the two beat up Bossy Rc cards I pulled. I since put together a really nice 78-79 set with a bunch of stickers, the stickers brought back many great memories, now I just need to find some gum !!

Love the '78-'79 O-Pee-Chee set! I recently finished a nice looking raw set and it was really tough to find these cards well-centered! I hope to add this set to my image event site when I have the time.
