Here's mine. If anyone out there has one of these with the blue stripes on the jersey, then it wont be my favorite anymore.

Hard choice for me, as I'm a baseball fanatic that collects pre-war, vintage and modern. But, if I can choose only one, it's Mr. Johnson.

When I first got into the hobby I got one of these from Gar Miller. It had a wrinkle through his head that couldn't be made out from the xerox he sent. I eventually sold it, got another in my last collection....sold it and reacquired this one late last year. I think it epitomizes what we do.

Nice pile of Glendale Houtteman's!

Love that set, and if you are going to start hoarding Glendales, that's the one.

An earlier (purchased) version of this card was the 'backbone' of my collection for many years:

Default Better to have Babe Ruth than be Babe Ruthless

Nice card, and I bet you are thankful you decided to make your dream come true 7 years ago instead of now, at least in the regards to your bank account.

I hope you all don't mind something a little newer. My favorite Mickey Mantle card has always been the 1954 Red Heart Dog Food card. I had a pretty nice one several years ago but sold it when I stepped away from collecting for a while. Several months ago I decided to do the Red Heart set and picked this one up for the set.
