Man, some seriously awesome stuff in this thread...thanks everyone for posting.

Even though this snapshot is overexposed but, hey...I'll take it. Finally got my very first Ty Cobb snapper! Shows the Georgia Peach in his final season with the Tigers. July 16, 1926 at Yankees Stadium.

Default Snapshot of Junior on July 2, 1997

Here’s a photo from my Dad’s photo album of his youth. In July of 1997 he made a short trip down to San Diego from his native Seattle to visit a good friend of his who was stationed there in the Navy. While he was there he took in at least one Mariners vs Padres game.

The photo didn’t have a date but I was able to start narrowing it down due to the sleeve patches on the Padres jerseys as being 1997 as part of the league-wide celebration in honor of the 50th anniversary of Jackie Robinson breaking the color barrier. Then I pulled up starting lineups from each game that season in which the Mariners had traveled to San Diego. The only result was a short, two game series over July 2-3. So, I narrowed it down to two possibilities. I noticed that the second base umpire in the photo looked a lot like Joe West so I referred to the box score, sure enough he was listed as being the second base umpire for the first game of the series on July 2nd. With Griffey as the only Mariner in the shot, I looked at the defensive lineup for San Diego and saw that the first baseman that night, Archi Cianfrocco, was right handed as was the defender in the photo. The next night would find left hander, Wally Joyner, manning first. So after a bit of research I was able to narrow down the photo to a summer night on July 2, in the midst of Junior’s MVP campaign.

Also notable was that Dad had another photo of Randy Johnson staring right at him in the outfield during warmups. Over the course of the night Dad would see five future Hall of Famers and a slew of legends and all-stars play in the game.

Default Big Red Machine in 1977

Here are some snapshots taken of the Big Red Machine at the pinnacle of their glory. These were taken on photo day at Reds Spring Training in 1977. Apparently, there was an option to have film developed back then with a postcard back by a company called "POST-A-PHOTO," as these all have a postcard printed back. I obtained the autographs on the signed ones in person.

Those are sweet pics, Bob. I bet the players were surprised at the names of your kids.

Got this one recently:

Two women players, dressed in the Calgary uniforms of the Western Canada League. I haven't yet found if they played on a women's team, or were just dressing in the uniforms.

You have a baby faced Mike McCormick there in a New York Giants jersey. He was a late season call up in 1956. With Don Larsen (1956 WS pefect game) included, too, I imagine it was either an after-season shot from 1956 or possibly from some time in 1957. Billy Pierce was pitcher of the year for both of those seasons, and Kell was an Oriole in 1956 and 1957. Harry Simpson was moved to the Yanks during the '57 season. Perhaps with Maz (called up in mid 1956), Newk (1956 MVP and Cy Young Award winner) and the others, there is some nugget of truth that will give an exact year? If that's Herb Score next to the Mick (Triple Crown in 1956), he was ROY in 1955 and led the league in strikeouts for both the 1955 and 1956 seasons, and was an all star during both of those campaigns.

It may also have correlation with the Broadway show Damn Yankees which ran from May of 1955 to May of 1957. Note the action happening with the person in the Washington Senators uniform. That was the team in Damn Yankees.

Edit: Come to think of it, the guy in the Senators uniform looks an awful lot like Tab Hunter, who starred in the 1958 movie version of Damn Yankees...

Thanks Hank. They appear to be mostly from mid to late 1940’s. There are several others photos in the group. I believe they came from player Earl Taborn.

The photo appears to be from 1957, but it's a bit of a puzzle. The Cardinals jersey Musial is wearing came out in '57, but Ernie Banks is wearing the Cubs cap from 1956. If it's from an all-star game, it would be from 1956, because that's when Harry Simpson played in one. The fact that Don Larsen is there suggests the photo was taken after the 1956 World Series, when he pitched his perfect game. I'm guessing it's from spring of 1957, and the Cubs hadn't yet introduced the one-year cap with white stripes on it.
