Default 1929 R315 Strip Card Variations

Before you attack me, though an "R" designation, these were actually acquired in strips and not in gum. Though maybe you had to buy gum to get them.

Anywho.... Does anyone have a list of the position and/or name variations?

I know each player can be found with a blank bottom or with the team and position at the bottom.

But I have Bishop with "Phila." and "Philadelphia"

Was wondering if there are any more known variations like this.

Many thanks everyone

Dan Mckee

I don't know a whole lot about this set, but I had a Hornsby as a type card. I know T213-2 has many Phila/Philadelphia variations. Here are 2 Bing Millers that I saw on eBay with the 2 variations....

That's KILLER! Thanks so much! Maybe all of the Philly players can be found both ways.

Awesome information! I truly appreciate the response.

Glad I was able to help a bit on this one. Good luck with the search.
