Early Scorebooks
Posted By: ramram
I've got a few to share but here is a recent one that I picked up. It is an 1895 Spalding scorebook of the Hagerstown team (a very good team that played teams from MD and PA but I'm not yet sure which league). The item of interest is that they played three games against the Cuban Giants (top Negro League of that period). One of the players is Hall of Famer Frank Grant. |
