I was the under bidder on that one, Tbob. Nice pick up and at a good price. Would have been 2x that, about 4-5 yrs ago.

Default T210-7s

I found some T210-7s on ebay along with a couple of 5th series cards. They were sold raw and in a large group. The 7th series cards were extremely reasonable as they are really hard to find so I was happy that most went for the minimum bid.

Default Finally! A E135 Toney for my Fred Toney collection.

Thanks to the ebay bin I finally got a E135 Fred Toney SGC graded. It has taken me several years to find one actually. Technically it took longer than it did to find my T210-6 of Fred and I know that one is tougher than this card but I guess a lot of people collect the E135 set.

Here's a Duke Cigarettes card - same size as a cabinet card, but the entire front is a litho. The other card is a very thin 'Sunny South' cigarette advertising piece.

...well, the upload failed. I've tried this image and another, at a coffee shop, and from home, several times each, so it's not my connection. Got 'upload failed' each time. Used to be able to upload large files, and the software would shrink them to appropriate size.

Thanks Matt and Jeff. And you were probably unaware (until now) that Earl (Earle) Coombs (Combs) actually started his career with the A's, eh?

Default Excellent pick ups everyone !!!

David- Very nice, Joss BL 460 !!! Wow !!!
Tony A.- Beautiful SC piece- I've never seen that before, thanks for posting that (will go good with your PB piece too )

From the B/S/T, I picked up this oversized Waddell and I love it. Thank you Ron for the card and a smooth transaction. My scanner doesn't do it justice- it's a beautiful card, and I'm thrilled to add it to the collection.

Default 1909 Obak

I picked up a nice looking 1909 Richard " Nick" Williams Obak from Joe's Vintage Sports Cards tonight. It's got a nice front but with back damage.

It will fit well with my other six 1909 Obak catchers.

Default Nice!!

Jerry: Those are two very nice T206 HOFer portraits!! They appear to be much better than the assigned grades. Are there creases or back damage that are not discernible in your scans? Great looking cards...............

Picked up this fantastic c.1920 New Haven Team Cabinet last week on the BST. This photo includes hall of famers George Weiss (in suit) and Chief Bender (beside Weiss to his left).

This one just arrived. I'd posted a lower grade example of this card on a prior thread, as one I'd never upgrade or sell. I guess that was a naive comment!! and one made before the board got hold of me. Still plan to keep both cards though.

Default pickups

Beautiful cards this month guys!

Jerry, nice looking cards for the "2" grades.

Clayton, I love that Waddell! I remember looking at it quite a few times wanting to pull the trigger, but it wasn't the right time for me. Enjoy!
