Default where is the E-Train?

Posted By: Joe D.

other than cracker jack, where is Walter Johnson in the E cards?

Lots of e-card sets and the big train is no where to be found.

I know of the e91... but that doesn't look like him! (no offense intended to those who like that set)

Any other e-Trains out there? If so, please post.

well, I guess it does count (and thanks for the list Steve)... but it is not exactly what I had in mind.

Before 1920 It looks like we have Texas Tommy, Plow's Candy, and Collins-McCarthy.

Why is he absent from the 'major' eSets?

Maybe because his first impressive stats year was 1910?

The theory is that when all the E sets from E90-1 to E98 were issued, he was still not a great pitcher and just didn't make the cut in a small 25 or 30 card set. He didn't even make the cut in a 120 card set. Had they been issued a couple of years later, his chances would have greatly improved.

covered previously - Schaefer is the only Senator in any of the E90-E106 E sets.
