Default Just picked up a Gehrig Stand Up AD. How did I do?

I worked out a deal with a guy on ebay who just picked it up today at a flea market in PA.

Thought this would look great in the man cave.

Does this appear Authentic to you guys? Didn't spend a fortune on it but spent a decent amount where it's worth taking a chance. Hopefully I was right. It just looked so cool. Any clues to it's value? Any opinions would be greatly appreciated.

Ok so I didn't hit Jackpot lol It's still cool looking right? I probably spent more than I should now. Do you know what that sold for? I paid $100 for the man cave.

When you see things like this take a moment and really look at it and ask yourself a question. Why are the two gloves different

Just little things that make a difference.

You can buy this at the wholesale shops for $7.99 each in bails of 25

There are two for sale now on ebay, and one has a clear description that it's a fantasy piece. Doing a little research first, before jumping in on a piece you know nothing about, will save you some heartache. But no biggie - you took a shot and it didn't work out. At least it didn't cost you too much.

Is this the guy you bought it from? if so, the listing is still up or the guy has another (or many). It's not a BIN, so why the rush? why buy first and ask questions later?? anyway..live and learn.

You are all right. I did look but all I saw was terapeak. I do not have a subscription so I could not tell. I wanted to keep it either way so that's why I did not mind taking the risk as I felt it was a cool looking piece even for $100. I'm putting it right in my man cave OR on my desk at work. I got burned! haha it's okay. I've been keeping track and this year I made $2K in BAD purchases meaning I lost at a loss of 2098 but made gains of 2184 on purchases I have sold at a gain leaving me at a whopping profit of just under $90. Tis why I do not do this for a living lol. Focusing on JUST JACKIE has made collecting easier and A LOT more fun. Plus that is what it's all about. None of us are going to find the holy grail in all probability, but at the end of the day we are all going to die at one time or another so in the meantime as long as this hobby fills us with joy thats worth all the money in the world. AMEN! lol sorry for the rant.

Stephen, as many have stated in this thread alone, PLEASE, PLEASE do a little research on your end BEFORE coming on here and showing off your "prizes". This isn't meant to sound mean, and I apologize if it does, but Google is your friend
