Default Stolen Art

I'm grasping at straws on this, so if anybody has any suggestions to my problem, I'd love to hear them...

Last week when my family was moving, the house we are moving to was broken into and a couple pieces of art were stolen. There was some financial value to each, but they also meant a great deal to both me and my wife. One was an Audubon print of the Brown Creeper and California Nuthatch, the other a woodblock print done by Don Gorvett (framed with a blue matt).

But my real question is, where would these pieces likely end up? I've checked in on Craigslist, OfferUp, NextDoor and LetGo, while also contacting various pawn shops and heading to a flea market in my search so far. But I get the feeling that none of these are great candidates. Where should I be looking for these?

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Default sorry to hear this

local antique malls might be another possible place to find these although the thief may just go out of town and sell them in the next state. So sorry to hear this happened to you.

Garth- I'm sorry to hear your news. I hope you are able to recover the Art.

Move finally over and settling in, but no luck in finding the art that was stolen.

But I really do appreciate the messages of support! Thanks very much!
