Default St Louis TriStar Show this weekend

Posted By: Kyle

Hey Everyone,

Don't mean to take up too much space, but I know there are collectors in the area who may not know that there is a TriStar show in St Louis this weekend.

Info is available here:
http://www.tristarproductions.com/shows/STL606/vip_package.htm

Goodwin and Co will be there, among others.

Just wanted to share,
-Kyle-

Originally from a burb of Chicago, but now a resident of The Lou. I just purchased my first home ever (a condo in Clayton) and can't wait to move in at the end of June.

I'm planning on swinging by the show, to see whats around and maybe to shake hand with Sean Marshall (I am a Cubs fan, but not an idiot one).

If you're going to be at the show, send me an email, kylebicking@yahoo.com.

I'll meet up and buy you a beer if they're serving. I haven't met anyone from the boards yet, though I don't post nearly as frequent as most. But I'm also a young, new vintage collector/investor.

Condo in Clayton - not too shabby. We used to have an apartment in U-City, but now live in St. Peters. Horrible exurban, whiteflightville, but homes are relatively affordable and homegirl and I both teach out here. I'm already planning a return to the mid-county area...but I'm sure it'll be another 20-25 years.

Anyway, the show's really close to me so I may try checking it out on Saturday. If so, I'll drop you a line and we'll have to meet up.

I'm currently out in Ballwin, renting. Moved here about 11 months ago two years out of school. Its not a terrible area, very nice, but for a young recent graduate, not the ideal place for nightlife and accessibility to the fun areas (I'm spoiled compared to Chicago).

If you had asked me a month ago if I was considering Clayton, I would have said hell no... no way I could afford it. But I found a place, it will be a challenge (well worth it) to pay it off every month, but far better than Brentwood Forest. Plus, whats 6 months of being careful, watching the budget, etc... when in the long run the property pays off more than any other city? I can't wait. I've gone from 25 mins to both of my softball fields on Mondays and Fridays to 3 mins each... now that I LOVE!

Shoot me an email if you'll be there to say hello. I'll email you phone number for the show. I am tentatively planning on Saturday, but I could do Sunday as well.
