Sorry for bringing back old threads... I picked up a Heritage lot that didn't list (in photos or text) most of the cards. This Willett was included, so I believe that this is yet another to be added.

Some more versions of irregular cut southern leaguer “scraps” (brown old mills). We should get these SL together for a freak show. And one other brown old mill freak

Here is a fun one...a Sweet Caporal 350/460 factory 42 Magee that is missing the factory 42 and scroll overprint. For a while, until I showed it on here and was informed about the printing error, I thought I had an unicorn card that shouldn't exist (Sweet Caporal 350/460 factory 30).

Default Schaefer with grass-stained pants . . .

Herman A. "Germany" Schaefer. Infielder for the Washington Senators in 1909-1914. 972 hits, 9 home runs, and 201 stolen bases in 15 MLB seasons. His "steal" of first base prompted rule making it illegal. Popular as a baseball "trickster" and "on-field clown", often in tandem with Charley O'Leary and, later, with Nick Altrock. Altrock eventually perfected the art with Al Schacht.
