I am a new member to the forums. I am getting back into collecting again after a 25 year hiatus. My 14 year old son is interested in it and it is something we are going to do together. I primarily collected baseball cards and am now also interested in football cards too. I have too many cards from the junk era but also have some decent 60's and 70's cards. Like everyone else I wish I had concentrated on the older cards at the time.

Welcome Jeff and Son! I joined this board about a year ago and have had a great time learning from the "elders". Also have had a chance to meet a few people off the board. Enjoy!

Welcome jbernar.

I am fairly new here too, and like you, I also have a 14yr old son who I am also trying to get into the collecting hobby as well.

This is a great, informative site and the only forum I frequent.

Enjoy!

Welcome!! I joined about a year ago after my 10 year old son sparked my return to the hobby. Careful... the sickness returns with a vengeance!

Welcome to the board! Don't be too pressured to go after T206 issues. There are lots and lots of great vintage choices...so, keep your mind and your eyes open...you will probably discover many a card you did not even know existed.

By the way, not having any children myself, makes me very envious of all those who share this great hobby with either their fathers and / or their sons.

Cherish every bit!
