Default Fantasy Football Team Names

I love coming up with a good team name, and better yet, finding a good image to be the logo. Last year, because of the Anthem protests, my team name was "You'reBlowingTheGame" which is in reference to "Get off your knees, you're blowing the game!"

This year, since I'm getting married in September, my team name is...

Ball & Chain Gang

What are some of your great fantasy football team names?

I just use the cheeseheads every year. Some guys in my league have come up with pretty creative names though.

I've been married for 22 years. One of my most important rules: never disparage my wife, especially in front of strangers. Even if I think it is funny. Even if it has a football pun in it.

It has been a good rule. My pastor gave it to me about two months before my wedding.

Ymmv.

L.A. Traffic is my go to name.

My fiancee and her mom actually find my team name to be hilarious. A couple years ago I ordered Chipotle, and had them write Ball & Chain on her order. I thought her mom was going to pass out from laughing so hard.

What's life without a little edgy humor?

One year I was "El Dandy," which was in reference to a Lucha Libre wrestler. Anytime I communicated with anyone in the league, I wrote as if I was the character, and referenced his arch nemesis, Santanico, often. By the end of the season, the guys were debating if I was really this old wrestler or not. It was humorous, and gave guys something to discuss in the message section. This was my avatar.

Don't know how good it is, but I've taken to naming my team after a player who wore the Jersey number of my age.

Last Year Mick Tinglehoffs, year before Mike Websters, year before Dick Butkuses

this year Brian Urlachers or Randy Whites ......... Whichever I can find the best jpeg photo for my "logo"
