thanks! they're going into a display on my wall tonight. Will post a pic then.

very cool stuff for me, especially since I'm just a beginner in t206 collection.

nothing too fancy. I believe in the hindus there are around 10 hall of famers and about 9 southern leaguers

Amazing group of Hindus! What's the story behind getting such a big group? And why pay a premium for the backs and then not show the backs?

thanks for the compliments, everyone. My name's david, and I've just recently gotten into the t206 world. And it's a very interesting one. I must admit, as far as baseball card collecting goes, this is the most fascinating and sophisticated world. None like it. There's always more to learn, more to research, new things popping up. It's amazing.

I actually got this group in one single trade. To gather these cards one by one would have taken a long time, I believe. I was very fortunate.

I always wanted a t206 collection, but it seemed like a big task since "The Monster" can be a bit overwhelming.

I've always been into 50's topps mostly, but I always had t206 in the back of my mind. I had to trade one big card which was dear to me (probably dear to most people), but I couldn't resist the opportunity to get this group.

Beautiful cards and a group that don't come around often, and also I couldn't resist the investment aspect of it. I could be wrong, but after doing some research, I saw that "rare" or "scarce" backs on t206 have always gone up in value. And it's not like they're making more of it.

I can see from doing some digging that "extremely rare" backs are pretty much gone and tucked away. From looking, UZIT and Lenox etc etc could have been attainable 5 years ago or so, but now they cost a fortune, and they rarely come around. I figured I should grab these hindus while they're still available now, because I assume 5 years from now, they might be tucked away also. Who knows what'll happen. I'll defintely tuck away mine.

also, I actually thought about displaying the back, but I decided that I prefer the colors and the labels displayed. I guess it's just a preference. I'll know they're Hindus so, I figured, eh why not.

anyway, thanks for looking, guys!

The question has to be asked.... What card did you trade for them??
