Hey folks,
Hope Elliot doesn't mind but I thought I would show a few of the packs I have acquired lately. I AM ALWAYS LOOKING FOR MORE Since all of them deal with the little gems we love I thought ya'll might be interested. BTW, the Gypsy Queen one is supposed to be very rare.....best regards all

Leon-

As a reformed nicotine lover, I can only express my envy... and my intense desire to break those packs open, 100-years-old or not, and light up.

Bill

I'm very jealous of your pack collection. The Gypsy Queen pack is super tough. Very nice!!! Please e-mail me and I will send you a list of what I have.

I just had this nice long message typed out and got a "fatal error"...I hate that crap anyway, the Lenox is missing the part of the stamp with the date on it. I believe it to be around the '09-'10 range though....the artwork and packaging would indicate it and I got it from a very trusted source on the subject and that is what he said too. The Gypsy Queen has the Gypsy Queen push-pull but is empty, the Dogs Head is full with coupon and premium coupon, the Old Judge is empty, the Pirate has 3 cigs with Pirate logo on them, the S.F. Hess is full.....and that's about it...best regards...

I must say those packs are beautiful. The only packs I own are some Recruit Packs that I once was told held t207's. I'm not a pack collector or a collector of t207 so I have never confirmed if t207's were ever issued in the type of Recruit Packs I own.

I know what you mean, fatal errors drive a poor typist like myself crazy. I've done alot of research on sweet caporal and piedmont and have actually opened packs with cards in them, too bad none were t206s, only birds and flags if i remember correctly. if you have a chance, i would love to have a front and back scan of the lenox pack. I used to own an unopened pirate pack, from the t215 period, but i sold before i got the chance to open it. Anytime you aquire t205, or t206 era packs i would love a scan, i'm trying to put together as much info as i can on the packs of this series. I will happily share everything I know with the board. no fatal errors. be well brian

The one on the right is "period" with a stamp of 1914 and the one on the left is 1921....the green stamps are a little earlier but the *telltale (thought that was hyphenated..oh well)ink stamps are those dates...I believe there are later packs and earlier packs of Recruits too....since I am fairly new at this I am still in my infancy in knowledge...sorry....regards

I hate to make this thread so long for folks that read it...with the pics and all....but I told Brian I would post this other pack.....sorry to those of you who don't want anymore pack stuff.....as soon as I figure out how to send jpegs through email I will do so instead of cluttering the board....although, since it is entitled "a few packs"... so one would not have to look if they didn't want to .....regards again...
