Default Help with an old photo

Need some help on identifying the VIPs in this photo, I bought it in an auction and some of the other photos are from the Cleveland area newspapers. Thanks for any help identifying these people.

Second from the left looks like Rocky Colavito.

The guy on the right looks like golfer Jimmy Demaret. I'll let you make the determination.

Wow, good eye, Jason.
Judging by the fashions and Demaret's age, we'd guess that's a late 1940's / very early '50s pic...

I agree it looks like Colavito. If so, the photo would have to be late 50's at the earliest.

Resemblance, yes indeed, in the "you sorta remind me of..." sense. Heavy dark eyebrows, dimple in chin, sure.
But we say not Colavito. Hairline, jawline, mainly, and also subtle differences in nose, chin, ear, lips.
But no experts us! We'll abide by Marlowe's verdict.

Additional pointless whim: the older chap on the far left of the photo looks enough like the Colavito resembler
to be his dad.

You need to be careful with the "we" and the "us" lest we think the Bruce's have arisen.

I was told by a reliable Net54Forum source that.....Second on the left St Louis Cardinals pitcher Howie Pollet. Next to him, in center, is Cards' manager Eddie Dyer. And far right is golfer Jimmy Demaret.
Thanks for the input
