Default Card shops in LA / Orange County

Going to be in Laguna and surrounding areas for the next week. Any good shops with vintage?

Thanks.

Danny,

Here's a few shops that are around the Laguna area.

Memory Lane http://www.memorylaneinc.com
I don't know if they have any items for sale at this
location, but the last time I was there they had a
pretty neat display of baseball memoribilia in their
office.

Years ago Sports Cards Plus http://scpauctions.com/contact/
did have a shop. I don't know if it's still there, or if it's simply
an office they work out of.

Past Times Collectibles
https://www.google.com/webhp?sourcei...ullerton%2C+ca
Located in Fullerton. It's a little ways from Laguna, but Tom
the owner is a real nice guy and his shop has all sorts of
one-of-a-kind baseball items. The shop is rather small, but
it packs a handful.

Then you drop down a teir at Taylor's.
http://www.yelp.com/biz/taylors-base...les-buena-park
Most of what they have is the shiny stuff, but every once in
a while they may get an old item or two. The OCDugout is
just down the street on Beach Blvd. A few years ago they
were talking about closing shop, so I don't know if they're
still around.

Im not familiar with MVPSportscards http://www.mvpsportscardssocal.net
but I know they're located in Laguna Hills, not far from Laguna.

All of the other shops that are worth seeing are quite a
distance away (Porky's http://porkyssports.com in
Woodland Hills) comes to mind, but that's almost 100
miles away.

Hope this is a start.

I would look at South Bay Cards. Good selection of cards, and I'll be stopping in there when I'm in LA next week.

Beverly Hills Card Shop on Robertson always had vintage. He was not a big on grading and goes by the Beckett guide. Owners name is Matt and is a good guy.

South Bay is pretty good and often has vintage...Beverly Hills is also very good. Most of the others mentioned are either gone or do not have much anymore. Stay away from Porky's...they are awful (overpriced and rude) but if you do make it to the San Fernando Valley, I would visit Valley Sportscards...been there forever (old owner Max died several years ago but the new owner has kept the feel of the old store)...lots of vintage, from t-cards to new.

Glyn,

Tell me about the show. Where will it be, and how many dealers will be there?

While not really a card shop anymore, Burbank Sportscards has about 40 million cards in stock. Probably worth a trip for the nickle tour
