Default Sweet Caporal 350-460 Fac 42 Over Print Question

What is scarcity difference between the scroll and non scroll over prints? Any good articles to read on this? Tried google and didnt come up with much.

Thanks
David

According to T206resource.com, the SC factory 42 is the 23rd most rare back in the set.
The SC factory 42 Overprint is the 28th most rare.

So the factory 42 without the overprint is slightly more rare, though both backs are fairly common.

Default numbers

I'm collecting the SC460-42 subset (just missing two) so I have a bit of knowledge on this.

First off, the no overprint subset only has 47 subjects, while the overprint subset has 109. So, there are obviously fewer subjects, but that doesn't account for print runs.

There are also twelve subjects (exclusive twelve) that appear to have a substantially higher print run than the remaining 35 no overprint cards.

So, in general population, my observation is that the SC460-42OP are much more prevalent than the non-overprint counterparts, and that if you are looking for those that are not in the exclusive twelve, even more so.

Default Vary based on specific player?

T206Hound, does this SC460-42 OP vs no OP also vary on each specific player, much like other T206 runs? I mean if you are looking for a SPECIFIC player with a SPECIFIC back, it may be tougher?
I know on the back run of Lajoie Throwing that I completed, although Brown Hindu is a much rarer back than Old Mill, for this specific card I could find 5 Brown Hindu's for every Old Mill I would see, and had to pay more for the Old Mill than the Hindu.

The reason Im asking is I am looking at a T206 that has a SC 350-460 Fac 42 back with scroll. I have looked for similar backs on this card and can find the card but not with this back. It is slabbed so I feel some what confident it is the real deal. I cannot even find any without the scroll. The old post from here that I did find said that the back is the 18th most scarce. But it did not differentiate between with or without scroll.

Thanks
David
