Was and still am a huge fan of the show Magnum PI. Last I heard, Jay Hernandez was supposed to be the new Magnum. Seriously???
I know things have changed and Tom Selleck in his youth is no longer the look that is "in fashion" , but the guy was THE MAN in the 80s. I don't see Hernandez as THE MAN, ever. I had always hoped they would do a remake or a continuation when all of the main players were still alive and of an age where it would be believable. They just waited too long. Too many of the good supporting characters have died as well. I will watch a new Magnum if it finally gets released, but have a hard time thinking I can accept anything but the original.
