Default 1988 Bubblicious Tom Seaver

I learned of this card less than a year ago on another card site. Ugly for sure, but since I love oddball stuff, I was immediately drawn to it. Until someone shared it in a thread, I had never seen it in a price guide and had never stumbled across a photo. i needed to own one though.

I happened to stumble upon one in a lot of signed cards a few weeks back and bid. I nervously awaited the ending time and set a hefty snipe to try to win the lot, mainly for this card. I don't think I did too badly, as the lot ended in the low $30s for this, and 3 certified autograph cards (Snider, Feller and Thomson).

There doesn't seem to be a lot on this item, but I did find this:

Neat card; the autograph may be In-Person rather than sent out that way, since the ad mentions it as being a "signature baseball card" rather than signed, and it has a printed signature. If Bubblicious was planning to get them signed, they probably wouldn't have printed the signature on the card, right?
I like it.

Yes, this one was signed after the fact for sure. The card I saw before finding mine was not signed, but rather just had the facsimile autograph on it.

it is actually taller than a normal 57-present card, by another 1" or so.

Cool oddball card! Congrats on the pickup!

I'm surprised Hubba Bubba never had any cards...

Bubble Yum did a set of 1979 Blue Jay cards, but I have never owned any. I checked EBAY because I though a Doerr would make a great TTM item, but none were for sale.
