Anybody else care to share theirs?

Supposedly they are rare, so maybe we will confirm or deny this statement.

Have Red Hindu's of Chick Gandil (although ungraded,
it is at least a grade higher than that last sold in Mastro
-I've seen pics of the cards side by side) and
a nice Johnny Evers. Once had a Devore as well.
AM and BW have helped me checklist these, numbers of
known subjects are low in comparison to 'theoretical'
number of players that could appear with this backing.

Here is my Red HINDU....Donlin (bat)......a 350/460 card.

LEE B.
You raise an interesting question regarding Red Hindu cards in the 460 Series.
Of the 22 cards reported on this Thread, eight of them are from the 460-only
Series.....
Crandall (cap), 2 - Devore, Gandil, Geyer, Hummell, and 2 - Wheat cards.

I am sure Scot Reader will have an answer.

Ted, Lee: I have no idea why Hindu switched to red; although it can be said that there was a production gap between Brown Hindu and Red Hindu. 150-only and 150/350 subjects (as well as non-Texas southern leaguers) are available with Brown Hindu whereas 350/460 and 460-only subjects are available with Red Hindu. 350-only subjects are available with neither. Maybe ATC ran out of brown ink. More seriously, I wonder if ATC switched Hindu branding (e.g. advertisements and packaging) from Brown to Red circa 1910. Who knows? Scot
