Default Shout out to Jesse

At the end of the day, it feels good to participate in a hobby that for the most part looks out for one another, so I'd like to say thanks to Jesse (pokerplyr80) who took time out of his day to direct me to a lead that helped me secure a missing piece to my collection.

Jesse much appreciation!

Anyone else like to give thanks to another board member we can keep the thread going...

I could give shout outs all day but......I will give a most recent shout out to Dan "how am I this good looking?" Mc.kee. (hey Dan)

Danny offered to handhold and ship a deal for a good board member (small world we might see) with no monetary remuneration whatsoever. He didn't even know the other board member but I said he seemed to be a good guy...and Dan was all in...saying, I will treat him with kid gloves. In the end the situation got worked out where Dan didn't need to do what he so kindly volunteered for. And he knows I would do it for him in a heartbeat too. The board and hobby has 98% good people, we just have to watch out for the other 2%.

Default Too many to name,

and even if I tried, I know I would leave someone off the list. They know who they are, and I hope everyone knows how much I appreciated their efforts.

With all the things in your life that cause stress and angst, it's hard to believe that you would act like an idiot or a jerk or a crook with regard to a hobby that you voluntarily engage in to get away from all that other crap, but human nature being human nature there will always be a few. Hopefully just a few.

Not a problem AJ, glad I could help and that you secured the card. It was a nice one. I appreciate you being willing to answer a few questions on CJs I had a while back.

And yes, the person Leon is referring to is me. A special shout out to Dan for being so willing to help despite the fact that we had never met or even chatted online or through net54 before. And to Leon for helping set it up. As Leon mentioned the seller and I wound up working things out on our own, but the offer and willingness to help will not be forgotten.
