Default Attending shows in Pennsylvania 6/5,6, 7th

Hi,
I'll be traveling through Pennsylvania on June 5, 6, and 7 and attending shows in Allentown, Plimouth and Harrisburg. Also going to Penn National Race Track and Casino.

I'm looking to meet dealers and collectors with vintage Boston cards to sell as well as pre-war cards of all types.

Email me if you are interested in meeting at a show.

My wife and I are going to do this again in July with a trip to Cleveland for the National and planning on doing a trip every month.

Thanks,
Bill Hedin

Bill,

What about just meeting to say hello ? What if I don't have any cards to sell you ?

Bill,

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but as someone who has been to the shows you mentioned, I wouldn't go expecting too much. Pre-war material is definitely slim to none. I also believe that both shows overstate the number of tables.

You also might want to double check the show in Allentown, I did not see any listed for the weekend you mentioned.

Again, if you have time to kill it can't hurt to check out the shows, I wouldn't make a special trip though.

Mike

Default Be sure to ask dealers with 50-60s out for prewar

I dont think your chance is 0 at finding prewar. But there wont be a lot of it. Sometimes I find it is the price that is out of line when they have something. Though they often want the same for a nm card as a vg card so if its nice its usually where you get the buys.
